When the amount of HCG hormone begins to increase during implantation, some may also experience breast tenderness. The situation continues as the breasts may start to swollen and enlarge as the color of nipples darken and are particularly sensitive.

Frequent urination resulted by pressure from uterus on the bladder is common during the stage of growing fetus in the uterus. This symptom is familiar to many women who start to pregnant after a week or two. Most pregnant women have also complained about missed period or light bleeding. Light bleeding, also known as spotting usually happens at the same time women get their menstrual period. This may cause misconception as many assume their period has started but in fact, they are pregnant.

Skipping meals and not having enough food can result low blood sugar which is the primary source of food for babies. This will also cause pregnant mothers to feel dizzy or even faint when they are standing as a result of compression on major arteries in their legs by growing uterus.

Bowel functions can be slowed down by pregnancy hormone in order to give maximum absorption time of vitamins and nutrients. As pregnancy progresses, this symptom, known as constipation usually worsens.

Not only pregnant women will experience physical changes, they will have to go through emotional alteration- mood swings. This is a most common symptoms experienced by them in the early stage of pregnancy. The uncontrollable stress sometimes leave their feelings heighten and cast crying spells on them. This is often caused by the rapid changes of hormone level thus, causing the drastic changes in the mood of pregnant women.
