Signs of Pregnancy by Katie Byrd

Everyone is familiar with the usual signs of pregnancy like morning sickness, fatigue and the tenderness in the breasts. But there are other symptoms that are not commonly known to everyone.

Some mothers will experience vaginal discharge or even light bleeding (commonly referred to implantation bleeding). Do not panic, the light bleeding might be caused by the fetus attaching itself to the uterine lining. The bleeding should not be too much. If it is, it is best to get it checked with a doctor.

It is also possible for mothers to feel restless. Some would even wake up in the middle of the night just to walk it off! Most mothers have to wake up in the middle of the night as well because of their increased need to urinate. This in turn is a form of insomnia for the mothers.

Another weird symptom might be frequent constipation. It always comes back to hormone production as the imbalanced hormone levels in the body might take a toll on the rest of the internal organs, like the intestines. Foods high in fiber are highly recommended to ease the process.

There is a possibility for skin decolouration because as the fetus grows, it might apply force on the veins and cause a rupture. These are usually not permanent and should go away after child birth.

All pregnancies are different and if you are feel that you are experiencing abnormal symptoms, the best solution is to get it checked by a doctor for confirmation.
